There is a renewed interest in founding father Alexander Hamilton due to the phenomenal success of the hit Broadway musical, Hamilton. Terry Lynch brings history to life with a dramatic portrayal of Hamilton. Born in the Caribbean and abandoned as a child, he aspired to be an aide to Washington during the Revolutionary War and eventually played a central role in the creation of our financial system as our nation’s first Secretary of the Treasury. Join us to see how Hamilton’s humble beginnings planted the seeds of opportunity for him and how he helped create a government in which he could never serve as President. Registration required.

Secret Blow-Your-Mind Organic Gardening Hacks

Warrenville’s own Shawna Coronado will present eco-friendly solutions to improve any garden with top tips, tricks and solutions. In this program, she will help you discover clever ways to upcycle everyday items in your garden in order to save your pennies and save the environment. Each hack is natural or organic and super-easy to accomplish in the garden and will give you creative insight on how you can grow for very little money. Shawna will demonstrate each tip with full-color photos and tales from her creative and wacky home garden that is making a difference in her community and her family. Registration required.
